  Although the rules are simple, the actual gameplay is surprisingly difficult. Every move changes the arrangement of the entire board. After each move, a new tile usually appears in an empty space. Therefore, players have to think not only about the immediate result of a move but also about its possible consequences several moves later. A move that seems useful at one moment may create serious problems later by filling an important empty space.
