I didn’t plan anything before going to Prague, which in hindsight was both fun and slightly stressful. One afternoon I just started wandering without a map, ended up in areas that felt less touristy, and that’s where I randomly heard about a place people were recommending quietly among themselves. I wasn’t sure if I should even check it out, but curiosity got the better of me. When I stepped inside, I expected something more chaotic, but it was surprisingly calm. Nobody was pushing anything, and I could just look around and take it in. I asked a few questions, probably sounded like a complete beginner, but the response was super chill. It felt more like a conversation than a transaction, which made me stay longer than planned and actually enjoy the moment instead of feeling rushed or out of place.Apr 3rd, 3:21 am -

That “no plan” approach can go either way, but in this case it sounds like it worked out pretty well. I’m the opposite, I usually check things ahead because I don’t like uncertainty, especially in a new city. When I was looking into cannabis in Prague, I realized pretty quickly that having at least a bit of background helps avoid awkward moments. I came across this source and used it just to get familiar with what people talk about and what kind of options exist. It wasn’t about being fully prepared, just enough to not feel completely clueless. When I visited a place later, I noticed I was way more relaxed because I kind of knew what questions to ask. One thing I learned is that asking simple, direct questions works better than trying to sound like you know everything. Also, don’t rush your decision, even if you feel like you’re taking too long, because most of the time nobody cares and they’re used to it. Another thing is to trust your gut feeling about the place, if it feels off, just leave and try somewhere else. That flexibility made my experience much better overall.Apr 4th, 1:36 pm -

It’s funny how different approaches can lead to similar outcomes, sometimes planning helps, sometimes it doesn’t really change much. A lot depends on the moment itself and how things unfold. Even small unexpected details can shape the whole experience in ways you wouldn’t predict.Apr 5th, 4:15 am
