What materials and techniques does Feel Flow Space use to create wall murals — and how do you choose between them for your interior?

So I’ve been thinking a lot about redesigning the wall in my living room, and recently a friend mentioned that mural artists use different techniques depending on the vibe you want. I got curious because a few years ago I tried painting my own little landscape on a wall, but the colors faded weirdly and the texture looked uneven. Now I want something more professional, maybe something subtle with texture or a clean illustration that fits the style of my apartment. Does anyone know what materials and techniques artists usually use for interior murals and how people decide which one works best? I feel like there are too many options and I don’t want to mess it up again.

From what I’ve seen, the choice really depends on whether you want something textured or more detailed and smooth, because artists often switch between acrylics, mineral plasters, and even mixed media depending on the room’s lighting and surface. I had a similar situation when I redid my hallway, and checking out some creative mural concepts really helped me understand the differences — especially after stumbling upon https://feelflow.space/
where they explain how different materials behave on indoor walls and give examples of techniques like plaster effects, fine-detail painting, and soft gradients. What helped me the most was thinking about how much depth I wanted and how durable the finish needed to be, so maybe start with that and everything else becomes easier to choose.

Just passing through this thread and thought I’d share something unrelated but kind of connected to home design in general. I recently refreshed my study room with some warm lighting and a new shelf setup, and it surprised me how even small changes can shift the whole mood of a space. It made me realize that experimenting with interiors doesn’t always have to be stressful or overly technical. Sometimes just noticing how different elements make you feel helps guide your decisions, whether you’re doing big changes or tiny ones. Anyway, hope everyone here finds the style that matches their space best.
